We Accept
To set up your e-mail account that is hosted by Simon Developing,
LLC. in Microsoft Outlook XP or 2003, follow the steps below If you
are having problems sending e-mail, please see the note at the bottom of this
page.

Step 1 - Open MS Outlook. If this is the first time you have opened
Outlook Express, and you do not have any e-mail accounts set up, you will be
prompted to set up a new account, go through the wizard until you see the
screen that looks like Fig 1. If you are prompted to import an account
from Outlook Express AND that account is the e-mail hosted on our server, go
ahead and follow the wizard to import the settings, you should be complete
once that wizard is done. If the wizard does not come up, click on
'Tools' and then on 'E-Mail Accounts'. You should see a similar screen as
Fig 1, click on 'Add a new e-mail account', click 'Next'.

Step 2 - Select the type of e-mail account (POP3), click 'Next'

Step 3 - Type in your account settings.
Your Name is how you want it to appear on the e-mails you send
E-mail Address that we provided to you
Incoming Server (POP3) that we provided to you
Outgoing Server (SMTP) that we provided to you
User name that we provided to you
Password that we provided to you
You can test your account by clicking 'Test Account Settings' (2003 only). Click
'Next' and then 'Finish'
Example:
Your Name: Brad Simon
E-Mail Address: simon@simondeveloping.com
Incoming Server: pop3.simondeveloping.com
Outgoing Server (SMTP): smtp.simondeveloping.com
Username: simon@simondeveloping.com
Password: provided to you

That will be all you need to do to set up your e-mail.
If you are having problems sending e-mail, it may be due to your Internet
Service Provider. Some ISPs will not allow you to use your SMTP account,
they will only let you use yours. To configure a separate outgoing e-mail
server, follow the steps below:

Step 1 - Open MS Outlook, click on 'Tools' and then on 'E-mail
Accounts'. You should see a similar screen as Fig 1 (above), click on
'View or change existing e-mail accounts'. Click 'Next'. You should see the
account list, which is similar to Fig 4. Double click on your e-mail
account. You should now see the properties of your e-mail (Fig 3 -
above).

Step 2 - Change the SMTP settings to what your ISP gave
you.
Example: smtp.earthlink.net

Step 3 - Click on
the 'More Settings' button, you should see something similar to Fig
6. Enter your Account name (username) and password that were provided to you
by your ISP. Click 'Ok'. You can click 'Test Account Settings'
if you would like to test your new settings.

Password: given to you by your ISP

Step 4 - Click 'Next' and then 'Finish'. This will bring you
to the MS Outlook main screen. Your e-mail should now work.
